THE DESIGN BRIEF

Design a hand-tufted rug:

  • for a living room space
  • to suit design conscious art lovers with a high end interior
  • using colours and trends for summer 2024, use them to inform your design
  • using sustainable fibres wool and/or Tencel™ 

The competition will be judged on inspiration, concept, mood boards, drawings, design
development as well as the final rug design.

Rug size of up to a maximum of 6sm, this does not need conform to a standard rectangular
shape.
