Rose Voorhees

Hello, I’m Rose. I have always been a lover of culture in all forms: art, literature, languages, visiting historic buildings and sites and being surrounded by thought-provoking objects. My History of Art degree, as well as widening the cultural lens in which I view the things around me, gave me a deeper appreciation for objects and their stories and how they might inform an interior. A diploma in Interior Design felt like the perfect way for me to combine my interests.   

My projects are varied in look and feel, as the most important thing to me has always been to answer the client’s brief and provide a workable, liveable space that fulfils their needs, both physical and emotional. I conduct very thorough research as I think it is important to back up every design choice with a reason, so that the final result feels grounded and meaningful, as well as functional. I am conscientious and highly organised; it matters a great deal to me not to let people down and I really care about the projects I undertake. I can come across as quiet as I have a calm demeanour but inside I have a lot of grit and I am a passionate person with a lot to give.
