DipHE Applied Interior Design

I’m Anouk – half French, half British. I grew up in a beautiful fishing village on the west coast of France. After studying geology in Paris, I moved to London to start my career. For seven years, I worked as a senior hydrogeologist at the international consultancy firm Arcadis. During this time, I gained extensive experience in site management, producing technical drawings, and collaborating with contractors, engineers and clients.A few years into my career, I realised that I was not fulfilled in a highly scientific role that lacked creativity. Interior design became an obvious choice, allowing me to combine my love for architecture and beautiful spaces with my problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. This year at KLC has introduced me to the world of interior design, revealing many pathways within the field. I loved the conceptual design process, using design language as a tool to create cohesive designs. I also particularly enjoyed designing bespoke furniture and joinery tailored to each project. I am passionate about crafting designs that bring emotional value to clients. By understanding each client’s unique needs and desires, my goal is to create spaces that enhance well-being and foster deep emotional connections.I am excited to find the right opportunity to develop my skills further in London. If you would like to get in touch, please feel free to contact me.
