Helier Bowling

I am passionate about my own garden, growing cut flowers from seed and creating gardens that bring nature, biodiversity and joy to their owners. I love teaching people to grow cut flowers, I especially enjoy seeing how clients learn to engage with their gardens and seeing their confidence grow. The highlight of my garden design life was leading a team of volunteers designing, sowing, growing and planting a trade show garden for Alitex Glasshouses at Hampton Court Garden Festival 2022, where we were thrilled to be awarded 5 Gold Stars by the RHS. 

Now as a garden designer, I aim to design gardens that grow as thriving sustainable plant communities, attracting wildlife and pollinators, engaging people to notice and celebrate the everyday seasonal change and beauty at all times of the year.

I'd love to be involved in a team for design projects or show gardens as well as designing in my own capacity as a new designer.
