Brannagh Eileen McInerney
Hi everyone, my name is Brannagh McInerney. I am a graduate of the Foundation Degree in Interior Design course and I live in the South Coast of England. After working within the textiles sector with focus in fashion and history, I began to explore the world of interiors. I considered for a while which path to follow, but I started to love creating spaces for others to enjoy. I found KLC through a friend and I applied on the course! I mostly enjoyed the historical elements of Interiors and Architecture, along with creating concepts for residential or small commercial projects. I enjoy creating something wonderful for others to enjoy, evoking emotions and reflecting who they are.
Many people perceive Interior Design as straightforward with very few skills needed, expecting anyone to step into the role with ease. However, as most creatives know, to produce a project with intricate detail there are many moving parts, and this could not be further from the truth. The process for a project is wonderful, it will allow you to truly explore different paths and new ways of thinking. It can be stressful at times when you have a lot to consider and a time frame to meet, but it is well worth it. Just think about the inspiration or enjoyment that you get out of your favourite spaces and know that you could create one of these of your own for others to love too. My top tip is to trust in the process, have fun and always be open to options within your designs.
