BA (Hons) Interior Design

Hi! I’m Phebe, a recent graduate from the BA (Hons) Interior Design course receiving a first class honours. My work is driven by a passion for improving the quality and experiences of people’s lives through design. I’ve always believed that while good design is sometimes noticed, people will always notice bad design. Throughout my three years studying at KLC and completing 9 projects, I have strived to push my belief one step further – making good design a beautiful and memorable feature.

My design process begins with a concept often connecting and uniting the site, community and client. Finding the middle ground of those aspects is core to developing the design in a way that caters for all. Throughout each project, I have found space planning to be the most engaging. The immense amount of problem solving involved and understanding the hierarchy of design elements highlight the beauty and complexity of each project.

From discovering my strengths at KLC, I am drawn to designing commercial spaces and wrote my dissertation on questioning what the future of office design looks like. This further pushed my desire to design for the public, with the goal of enhancing and benefitting the lives of those who use these spaces.

I would love to hear from you, and enjoy looking at my work below!
