Josette Smith

Hi, my name is Josette (Jo). Born and raised in London, I have spent most of my professional career attempting to strike the right balance between the more analytical and creative sides of my personality.

My love for puzzles & problem solving led me from a law degree to project management in creative advertising. While I thoroughly enjoyed organising and collaborating with clients & internal teams, I craved a more hands-on creative role.

This passion led me to interior design, where I can now blend my love for a spreadsheet & client management with creative projects. My time at KLC taught me the necessary technical skills needed for the industry, as well as allowing me to hone my creative talents, especially in concepting and FF&E. I particularly enjoy the design development phase, where the initial vison starts to become tangible, and everything starts to come together beautifully.
