Anouk Jentgen
I'm Anouk – half French, half British. I grew up in a beautiful fishing village on the west coast of France. After studying geology in Paris, I moved to London to start my career. For seven years, I worked as a senior hydrogeologist at the international consultancy firm Arcadis. During this time, I gained extensive experience in site management, producing technical drawings, and collaborating with contractors, engineers and clients.
A few years into my career, I realised that I was not fulfilled in a highly scientific role that lacked creativity. Interior design became an obvious choice, allowing me to combine my love for architecture and beautiful spaces with my problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
This year at KLC has introduced me to the world of interior design, revealing many pathways within the field. I loved the conceptual design process, using design language as a tool to create cohesive designs. I also particularly enjoyed designing bespoke furniture and joinery tailored to each project. I am passionate about crafting designs that bring emotional value to clients. By understanding each client's unique needs and desires, my goal is to create spaces that enhance well-being and foster deep emotional connections.
I am excited to find the right opportunity to develop my skills further in London. If you would like to get in touch, please feel free to contact me.
