Iszi Kelly
Hi, I'm Iszi! Ever since I can remember, I have been fascinated with the interaction between creativity and experience. Whether I was at a concert, visiting an art gallery, or touring a historic site, I was keenly aware of how humans have shaped their environments to influence how we feel and interact.
This fascination became a focal point during my undergraduate studies in Fine Art at Oxford University, where I delved into these themes by creating distorted installations of interiors as manifestations of the human psyche. Through this work and my involvement in curating student art exhibitions, I unknowingly began exploring my deep interest in interior design.
This revelation led me to work as a colour consultant at a leading paint company last year before beginning the KLC diploma in September. Here, I have learned to appreciate the joy and comfort of a space when design underpins the aesthetics of a space. My developed design process typically begins with abstract concepts, which are then refined through function-driven problem solving to manifest in a cohesive space.
I am incredibly excited to begin my career in interiors and look forward to gaining industry knowledge to compound my degree. I would be delighted to share my portfolio with you or speak further; to do so, please reach out to the above email address.
