Charlotte Burke

I grew up in the countryside and have always been a big fan of the outdoors - spending as much time as possible walking the Peak and Lake District.  My family have been a huge influence in my horticultural journey; I spent my childhood helping my grandparents grow vegetables & fruit then turning that into jams and chutneys for the WI.  For the past 15 years I have worked in the media and advertising industry which enabled me to flex my creative side.  Alongside this, I used my skill set and keenness for DIY to renovate properties, creating beautiful spaces inside and out.  It was a culmination of all these experiences and passions which made me take the leap out of adverting and into pursuing my dream career in garden design.
