Anna Haslam

Hello, I’m Anna! After five years of working as a property development consultant in the London real estate market, I decided to follow my passion for design and switch to a more creative side of the industry. They say our childhoods hold clues as to what is most aligned with us, and mine was spent rearranging furniture in the house and collecting images from catalogues to redesign my bedroom! 

Committed to building a career as an interior designer, I enrolled in the part-time diploma course at KLC School of Design. Throughout the course I have challenged myself to expand my creativity and find innovative design solutions that answer the client’s functionality needs. I have particularly enjoyed the conceptual design process as a tool to bring personality to a space and create meaningful designs that speak to the client. 

Alongside my part-time studies, I continued my work as a property consultant where I would collaborate with developers and architects on a daily basis. I now look forward to combining my transferable skillset with the range of technical skills that I have developed whilst at KLC in a future design role.
