Andrée Cooke
I am an accomplished contemporary art and design specialist with a broad range of experience across the arts, transitioning my skills into a full-fledged interior design career. I have experience working with CEOs, boards, institutions, and private clients to create, develop, produce and launch impactful creative environments and experiences.
I began my career as a fine artist, and spent over two decades as a curator and director of several London and international art galleries before transferring my artistic intellect and unique feel into transformational interiors.
Known as a champion of established talent and rising stars, I have worked as both a companion to architects, designers, developers, and collectors on specialist commissions, as well as assembling specialist teams to produce complex, large-scale projects (both public and private).
From styling advertising campaigns to concepting and curating interiors for multi-purpose brand spaces, my experience straddles the sourcing and commissioning of original art and design pieces; vintage furniture restoration; pop-up installations; spatial concept design; art and design curation; display guidance; to interior design. Commercial clients include Unilever, Mulberry, and Spring Studios (NYC & London).
I joined the course at KLC as a scholarship student, with the wish to acquire all the technical tools required for an interior design career as well as time and freedom to explore design possibilities within an academic environment. I’m excited to now call myself an interior designer and develop this career.
I hope you enjoy my work. If you’d like to see my portfolio or talk about how I might help support your needs, please email me.
